Google Profile Picture Upload Error
Google doesn't tell you the error is due to an admin setting...
Dear Google,
If a user receives the error, "Sorry! We could not save your profile photo. Please try again later" then describe how to fix the error.
In this case the error was due to G Suite not being setup properly to allow Users to customize their public profile photo and cover photo. Click here for a step by step guide to fix the issue.
It seems relatively obvious that there should be a link or an explanation as to why the user could not upload a photo. Even providing a suggestion to contact the site administrator would be fine. Instead we found ourselves double checking the acceptable file formats and file sizes for the profile photo...
Just an error to try again later? Well guess what! We'd be trying in perpetuity to fix something that was not due to the file size, file type, internet connection, or Google server issue. Wow.
