Absolutely loved the opportunity to work with Lynn Ashley Photo on developing the marketing and operational plan behind the Mommy + Me photoshoot. Side note: hire Lynn Ashley Photo for your family portraits, product styling need, or photo retouching!

The Product Idea

Provide free photos for moms in a creative environment as a way to build brand recognition and test an on-location photoshoot that is styled, catered, and kid friendly.

The Rationale

Though a seasoned photographer, Lynn Ashley Photo had not yet tried back-to-back photoshoots with multiple families. The idea was to provide a classy, yet economical, photography experience. By offering a free session to moms and their kids, Lynn Ashley Photo was able to build portfolio experience for this session type, test marketing functions, confirm that the operational plan worked, and receive feedback from clients on their experience.

The pictures from the shoot should speak for themselves - the clients loved it!

Marketing Plan & Execution

We helped Lynn Ashley Photo organize and implement marketing activities to create a successful photoshoot. Wexford Entrepreneurial Partners assisted with the following:

• Ideating a different type of photo session

• Creating the operational plan to confirm key dates, required activities to facilitate the photoshoot, necessary promotional materials, hiring of key talent, and supplies needed for on-set production

• Developing the calendar behind marketing activities

• Mapping out the user experience of landing on Lynn Ashley Photo’s website, signing up for the photoshoot, being reminded of the shoot, the client’s on-set experience, and the end communication of receiving photos

• Adjusting and testing Acuity Scheduling for appointment booking

• Compiling marketing collateral and executing a targeted social media advertising campaign to fill spots

• Altering the advertising campaign and eventually ending it in a timely manner to save advertising dollars

The photoshoot was a great success. We look forward to helping Lynn Ashley Photo with similar projects in the future.
